Uranus has just moved into Taurus, where it will be until mid-November, which means we have six months to harness this metamorphic energy and become the butterfly we know we deserve to be! This is a time of great change, in so many ways, but we need to be strong and flexible in order to reap the benefits. So how will Uranus in Taurus affect us? You might experience one, or all of these, the energy will focus on the area of your life that needs the biggest makeover!  

1. New Ways of Doing Things

Uranus encourages us to look at how we’re currently doing things and gives us the courage to do them differently as we need. Like a snow-globe, Uranus is here to shake things up and turn them upside down if that’s what will benefit you, but either way, you’ll start to notice a difference. Over the next few months, you might find yourself trying out new things – whether that’s a new hobby, new recipe, new style, or bigger things, like a new way of thinking, or a different approach to dating. You’ll no doubt notice changes outside your own life too as politics are rattled, new technologies are invented, and philosophies alter under the pressure of progress. The whole world is starting to shed its old ways to make room for the new. Don’t be afraid to join in – change is always beneficial in the long run and you should welcome it with open arms to make the most of it.  

2. Rebellious Acts of Self-Worth

Uranus in Taurus will change the way we see ourselves and show us what we’re truly made of. In particular, how much we value ourselves will be a big focus. More people will begin to speak their mind and social media has already begun to shift towards building people up rather than tearing them down. Ask yourself if you value yourself as much as you should? Are you confident in who you are? Do you bite your tongue when someone upsets you, just to keep the peace, or have you ever thought you weren’t good enough for something, or someone? We all have our down days, of course, but over the next few months, channel this great energy into believing that you are good enough, the energy of Uranus in Taurus will reward you for it.  

3. A Shift in Relationships

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of Love, so it makes sense then that Uranus in Taurus would be here to mix things up in the dating department! If you’re single, are you chasing something or someone that isn’t right for you? Or if you’re in a relationship, are there some patterns that could do with a bit of a shift? No doubt we’ll see more revolutionary romances. We’ve already had the ground-breaking marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan (the New York Times called it “the dawn of a new era” – now if that’s not Uranus energy I don’t know what is!), and you might notice yourself beginning to follow your own heart, even if that means having to go against everything you’ve been made to believe. Uranus will break the patterns of old and show you what you need to do to truly enjoy your relationships, all you have to do is pay attention.  

4. Changing Wealth

And last but by no means least, our financial situations will be up for judgement! Uranus in Taurus will bring an erratic energy to the economy, our own personal bank accounts, the stock market, even new things like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will break through into the norm. In fact, “the norm” will be no longer beneath the dynamic energies of Uranus in Taurus. Everything is up for debate and ready to change. This can be good news, if you take advantage! If you’ve been having money worries, new opportunities will arise to make that bank balance a little healthier looking, but you might have to start doing things a little differently! Work hard. Trust that things will settle after some turbulence and put faith in your own ability to earn what you need – Uranus in Taurus will take care of the rest.  

So! These might sound too hopeful to believe right now, but the trick is to become aware of the call to change. Uranus in Taurus will shift your life in so many ways, but you have to willing to take the leap!
