It’s Pisces season! From February 19th to March 20th we are in the realm of the fishes, so what is it like to date one? Pisces are known for their sensitive compassionate nature and spiritual depth and make great partners for romantic types, is that you? Let’s find out!
6 tips for dating a Pisces
- Be honest
A Pisces is super sensitive. Much like their analytical opposite sign, the Virgo, a Pisces notices teeny tiny details like a change in your mood, or a little lie. They’ll know if you aren’t being straight with them and perhaps even run a mile when they sense that you aren’t being real. Best to come out and say the truth so that you don’t trigger their highly intuitive alarm system.
2. Be gentle
Saying that, a Pisces is also a bit of a delicate soul and doesn’t always react well to overly direct or blunt truths. For example, playful insults that are a bit too close to home, casual let downs, or blunt honesty can hurt their feelings. Of course, you don’t have to walk on eggshells, but just ask yourself “Is it kind? Is it necessary?” before launching in with a bold statement.
3. Be flexible
Pisces is mutable energy, this means that a Pisces likes change. Just like the tides of the ocean, Pisces are happy in a variety of environments and get on well with a number of very different people. They are flexible and easy-going, and will need a partner who is similar. Try to go with the flow and see where it takes you, it might be a welcome change of scenery!
4. Be kind
Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is the King of the ocean, complete with themes like emotion, compassion and spirituality. A Pisces has a LOT of love to give and they’ll happily offer it to those who need. If you are to be with a Pisces, compassion and kindness will get you far. Show your love of animals, donate to a charity, smile and tip the waiter, your Pisces will respect you hugely for it.
5. Be open-minded
Piscean romances are transcendent, they want to go deep with you and do things differently. It might be that your Pisces is big into spirituality and is looking for a soulmate, or perhaps they enjoy daydreaming or getting lost in creative pursuits and fantasy. As long as you are open-minded and non-judgemental, you’ll get along fine. A Pisces is very independent, so even if you’re not up for gaming or meditating or napping, just allowing them to be who they are is more than enough.
What do you think? Are you a Pisces? Do you agree with these tips?
Much love,
